We use a small number of cookies that are essential for signing in and keeping the site secure. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. You can clear cookies in your browser settings at any time; doing so will sign you out.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device when you visit. Cookies allow a website to remember your actions and preferences (such as whether you are signed in) over a period of time. This Cookie Policy describes how Rest Mama Inc. uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) in connection with SolarLead.
2. Cookies and storage we use
2.1 Strictly necessary (cannot be disabled without breaking the Service)
- Authentication token (stored as
sl_tokenin your browser's local storage) — allows you to remain signed in between visits. Expires after 30 days or when you sign out. Without this, you cannot use the signed-in parts of the Service. - Stripe session cookies — set by our payment processor, Stripe, Inc., when you initiate a checkout or manage your subscription. These are necessary for secure payment processing and fraud prevention.
- UI preference storage — small items in local storage remembering your onboarding state and whether you have viewed the welcome tour. These do not contain personal information.
2.2 Performance and analytics
We currently do not use third-party analytics cookies. If we add analytics in the future (e.g., a privacy-respecting product like Plausible or a GDPR-compliant configuration of Google Analytics), we will update this policy with at least thirty (30) days' notice.
2.3 Advertising and tracking
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or behavioral targeting technologies.
3. Managing cookies
Most browsers allow you to review, delete, and block cookies through your settings. Each browser is different; links to instructions for the most common browsers are below:
Blocking or deleting the strictly necessary cookies listed in Section 2.1 will sign you out and may prevent you from using the Service until you sign in again.
4. Do Not Track signals
Some browsers transmit a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Because we do not engage in cross-site tracking, our behavior does not change based on the DNT signal. We rely on the cookie categories described above.
5. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if our use of cookies changes. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
